Inktober #31: FRIEND

I have this story about Renhakul and an old friend of mine.

So one day, we were doing something in Arcterra when we discovered that Renhakul was spawned, but instead of moping in his usual corner, he would just stroll off to the very edge of the cliffs and gaze into the distance… in the direction of the tower he himself has created… somberly contemplating the landscape before him while listening to his classic KoRn albums and when we approached him, he would follow us around but just…. not initiate combat. At all.

We managed to nudge him back into his spawning point, to which he started casting his ice spells that did nothing other than making the ground slippery without any damage done.

He was friendly.

So we would dance around on the ice, drink a hot cocoa with him, and hang out for a while… until the hot cocoa was gone, at which point he decided he had enough of our shenanigans and shooed us away resetting to his normal behavior.

This Mordesh was a great guy, we would hang out so much together in WS, doing dailies, helping each other to collect stuff… like every available dye ingame (which was quite a logistic feat, dyes were not account-wide unlocks back then) or doing silly things like scaling the impossible walls of Thayd and pose for screenshots when we reached the top of the tallest tower. He was the one who taught me how to rune myself. He was a really good friend. I don’t think he even plays WS anymore but I hope he’s out there somewhere and doing okay.
