“Skin
in a Tin”! The Go-To Material for Mechari Repairs and
Modification!
This
handy substance can be applied to all manner of nicks and scratches,
or build on the plating already present to give your frame a unique
look.
Fresh
out of the tin and after a short annealing process, this substance is
easy to sculpt and mix with other colours to fit the qualities of its
wearer. Give the grafted area a shot of omniplasm as it rests for a
few hours in the presence of air, and the graft hardens. Much like
the rest of the metal on the mechari chassis, this substance has a
bit of give at it hardens.
Mechari
with denser plating may have more… “squish” to them.
Amusingly, mechari with such frames have a tenancy to bounce if they
take a spill.
With the right connections and/or funds, a mechari may attain rare
patterns, textures, and tints. Other properties could include
changing colour in cold weather. If a mechari can find an acceptable
work-related reason for such types of metal, they may make a request
to the Foundry through their local medic or modification specialist.
Note:
Depending on where the graft has been placed, please take care not to
sit on the Sunday funnies.
